Dosage Form Development

We operate out of a world-class research center with infrastructure designed to facilitate development of different classes of dosage forms. Our labs are spread over 42,000 square feet of built-up space on a two-acre plot.

The laboratories have the following features:

  • 11 Air Handling Units (AHUs) spread over the facility. The design and location ensure multi-product development without any cross contamination. Personnel health and safety have been built into the systems.
  • Potable water system with a capacity of 5,000 liters per hour with storage of 200,000 liters.
  • Fire safety system with a separate 200,000-liter storage tank.
  • ETP with a capacity of 5,000 liters per day. The effluents from labs are treated and sent to the CETP, and all necessary environmental precautions are followed.
  • DG sets: 380 KVA and 120 KVA standby to ensure complete backup.
  • UPS: 60 KVA for laboratory areas and 20 KVA for administration areas.

The layout of the labs has been designed keeping in view the utilities and level of segregation required for each area of operation. The lab is segregated into separate sections for galenical development, which includes:

  • Oral solids including a pelletization facility
  • Oral liquids and suspensions
  • Dermal products
  • Ophthalmic and nasal products
  • Injectables (including lyophilization)
  • Analytical development labs
  • Stability area
  • Hormones and oncology products oral-solid suite
  • Hormones and oncology products injectable suite
  • Analytical development for hormones and oncology

Our equipment and instruments are designed to ensure development of robust technologies scalable to manufacturing sites across the world. Getz Pharma Research has equipment that meets international standards and are validated to perform their functions.
